Some suggestions and thoughts on how to use the meditation page....
No matter who you are, or what you have done. no matter what religion you belong to, no matter if you live in the ghettos,  or the Trump tower, it is good to stop, to listen to your body and soul...instead of your mind.

It is good to still all of your emotions.

Think about this for a moment.

Can any human being make the sun go down ? Or a tree to grow ? How about changing the seasons, or making the wind blow ?

However, within every one of us is a spirit...the spirit of life...we get that spirit when we are born...who created that spirit ???? You didn't.
Can you remember when you were born ? And now can you make the blood stop going through your veins on your own will...no..Can you make your heart stop breathing on your own free will ??..No

If you think numbers, the stars, yourself, or any human power can do it...guess what...you're wrong.

The Almighty One GAVE us our life and free will to think, to act, to do anything our mind and heart desires...we can choose wrong from right...no animal on earth can chose...we are the only creatures on earth that can do this...HE gave us this power for US to use.

Ever had a disappointment, ever been mad, or sad, ever said something about somebody that wasn't in Their best interest, ever put yourself in a situation that just won't work out in your best interests, ever feel sorry for yourself, ever think you got the raw deal..."if only" and " why me"..."I deserve better than this"....how about selfishness..."that's mine"..."me..me and me..my three best friends are ME,MYSELF, and I...the three of us can really have a party....How is that working out for you ?

None of that worked for me...I eventually, completely gave up that I can control ANYTHING other than my side of the street..and that is going to take a heck of a lot of practice...and letting go of my three best friends...ME, MYSELF AND I.

I had to.. life sucked, nothing was ever enough, I needed and wanted more..except I wasn't ever satisfied..I was taught the American Dream..Buy and sell, motivate ...get ahead ,college, achievement after achievement,..2 cars, house, and kids. Outside looked good...inside of me was hell. I just couldn't be happy...with me or anybody else for that matter. I looked everywhere for happiness...you name it I was there. The more I looked, the more futile I became. How come everyone else LOOKED like they had their life together ???  Why couldn't I ? I was really stuck.

Then I became willing .Something good happened to me when I realized that ME, MYSELF and I were not doing a very good job of controlling my destiny and life....and no human being or human power could help me. cause I tried everything from Eastern Medicine to Psychology..from Astrology to Numerology..it just didn't work..

So I had to accept the concept and idea that somewhere, somehow, and without me knowing anything about anything to do with the powers to be...and without prejudice...there MIGHT JUST BE...a power bigger than me, and I had to rely upon THAT power other than my own.

So I figured, I might as well let that power...who already has made it clear that He can do ANYTHING. I mean, if He can make the stars, moon, earth..let HIM deal with me..and I will become WILLING to see what happens...nothing more.

He will guide us, if we will only allow him.

Can you feel the breath going through your nose...into your lungs...can you feel the blood going through your veins...try to stop it on your will. You can't.
You really don't have much to say about how many beats your heart takes in a minute and whether your eyes are blinking every so often....some power is doing that...That power is our spirit of life which is provided and given to us by HIM.

Our spirit and soul guides us through life if we only listen...and not with our minds,
but within our soul.

Not one of us is perfect..we might think that we control our life, our destinies...but stop and think about the results of YOUR free will did for you in your life...think about the honesty of your actions and the motive behind those actions.....chances are even though you THINK or THOUGHT your motives, actions, and behavior were good...and your choices were high and mighty and in your and everyone else's best interest...were they ?

Probably not...honestly. Your choices and actions were probably based on YOUR WILL to get what you wanted, expected, and desired for YOU.

Every now and then most of us do something for somebody else without expecting anything in return..what a concept. Even a blind squirrel will find an acorn once in awhile.

Doesn't happen all of the time...most of the time it's always." what's in it for me ?"

Meditating on the Almighty One...the One who more is powerful than us..the power that created us...the spirit that allows us to breath..can literally change your life through practice on letting HIM .

These simple steps on learning how to meditate work for anybody who is willing...try it, you have nothing to lose.

A. Get comfortable...adjust the volume of the music to your liking.

B. Look at the pictures....and concentrate on the pictures...ONLY the pictures

C. Any time your mind wanders...which it will...just go back and LOOK at the pictures...

Once you accomplish that...

D. Start concentrating on your breathing...the air passing through your nose...into your lungs....again if your mind wanders..
it's ok..just start concentrating on your breathing again...eventually you will relax...just keep practicing.

E. Read the verses...pick out the verse that is most relevant you.

F. Relax, and concentrate only on that verse...if your mind wanders...go back to concentrating on the verse.

G. Try it everyday...pick a different verse...within 14 days of practicing this..you will see a profound change in your attitude to life.

H. It works.
