Music therapy

I have a rare profession for our country – a music therapist. I was convinced that the creators of great melodies are powerful healers who can help a person no worse than any famous psychic.

With special delight over the past 10 years, I have been doing music therapy, conducting thousands of sessions for adults and children. Music, according to L. Van Beethoven, carving fire from the human soul, helped me relieve tragic conditions, stresses, attitudes toward suicide, despair. I was able to achieve a fracture for a number of diseases, “remove” speech disorders and deviations in behavior, and eliminate the symptoms of neurological problems.

I practice not only as a doctor, but also as a musician, able to play the desired music on the piano, right up to N. Paganini’s violin concerts. I saw how the music exerted a spiritual and bodily healing effect.

Gradually, confidence grew in me that there was a connection between the preference for a particular color and the perception of music. Moreover, this is not due to the presence of musical hearing. If a person prefers a certain color, then a certain chord is more pleasant to him than others. The melodies in the tonality of this chord are especially encouraging for this person and powerfully influence him.

MUSIC THERAPY PHENOMENONS by melodic masterpieces

1) Phenomenon of Catharsis

At a psychological level, music excites a person and causes shock.

Call this state catharsis.

Such music is perceived with a sharp, special force, it causes pleasure, release, sometimes happy tears, the emergence of the brightest sensations, images resembling manifestations of REM sleep or creative inspiration.

Catharsis contributes to the revitalization of the creative subconscious, helps to harmonize a person, relieve painful symptoms. Color selection after reaching catharsis becomes harmonious.

The catharsis face is a happy face filled with the light of a creative, happy fire look. This is the face of a happy person, a person who, in his work, has found his self-realization. The introduction to the masterpieces of the melodic of your psychological level is often accompanied (with a session with your eyes closed) by the appearance of visual images. This is the Čiurlionis effect, co-creation, a conversation of the subconscious with the highest spiritual values on the same level and in their own language.

We observe manifestations of catharsis – during the Improvisation session, the listener with closed eyes sometimes sees striking visual images, the tragically sorrowful mask is replaced by the radiance of the eyes, the person experiences a creative shock. If the session is conducted correctly, anxiety is removed.

The choice of works of art close to a person, inclusion in a creative game, self-identification with the creators of masterpieces is an unrealized giftedness. That is what he would draw, write, play, if he could. Such a personal introduction to a masterpiece can remove the shackles of negative emotions, free the creative subconscious of a person who has merged with the world of art.

We attach the subconscious to the highest world values, the patient’s emotions are realized in the masterpieces of great musicians who experienced similar feelings.

Music of its level excites a neurotic person, causes shock, we see a state of catharsis.

Such music is perceived with a sharp, special force, it causes pleasure, release, sometimes happy tears, the emergence of the brightest sensations, images resembling manifestations of REM sleep or creative inspiration.

2) The phenomenon of the caisson

In violation of the principle of individuality, the discrepancy between the psychological content of music and the listener causes painful sensations, the phenomenon of caisson.

When perceiving music of an alien psychological level, the following manifestations of the caisson are observed, which go in steps:

– indifference, lack of interest;

– boredom, grades “primitive”, “naive”

– ironically mocking perception (laughable caisson);

– denial, negativism;

– emotional and autonomic reactions (cough, restless movements, etc.).

Caisson is a term taken to represent the rejection of a psychological level alien to the patient and its manifestations.

Caisson disease is a condition that occurs in a diver if he is quickly raised from the depths: nitrogen in the blood can be released and kill a person. Transition to an alien psychological level is also harmful. The concept of caisson has universal significance in psychological relationships.

If the music does not correspond to the denied color, it can be denied and cause negative images – a wonderful melody is perceived as boring, painful and surprising negative images arise. Let us give some examples, Mozart’s music – and suddenly the images: winter, two men sawing firewood and are very tired, Lenin and Krupskaya are sitting at the white piano, an atomic explosion, an embryo in a bank.

The woman denies the blue color in the Luscher test and reacts to the performance of the melody of the corresponding tonality according to the laws of the caisson – she laughs ironically when she sees a pig on skates in response to Grieg’s melody.
